It isn't often that Eagles fans are angry after a two-touchdown win over the hated Cowboys, but ... well, it's been that kind of year and it was that kind of game. Expect plenty of Eagles talk on this week's Philly Pressbox Radio show as Edge of Philly Sports' Freddy Burns joins Bill Furman and Jim "Chet" Chesko to talk Birds and much more, including what's ahead for the Phillies and 76ers in this important offseason. Plus, Fred has his Week 9 Fantasy Football advice and the guys make their predictions for some of the weekend's key games. You're elected -- now join us!

As Eagles fans know, it's "Dallas week." Neither the Eagles nor the Cowboys are having a great season (ok, it's been pretty bad for both), but the winner of Sunday night's battle will nevertheless sit alone in 1st place in the NFC East. Joining Bill Furman and Jim "Chet" Chesko to talks Birds and more is former Eagles special-teams captain KEVIN REILLY. Speaking of football, Freddy Burns of Edge of Philly Sports stops by with his Week 8 Fantasy Football tips, and he and Chet make their picks for some key Sunday games. Plus, the guys squeeze in some World Series talk, the Phillies free-agency plans and more.

The Eagles lose again (and suffer more injuries), yet they're still just a half-game out in the NFC East with a Thursday night game against the Giants fast approaching. Plenty of Birds talk this week, but we also welcome former NFL defensive lineman BRANDON NOBLE to the show to preview the 2020 Penn State season that kicks off this Saturday. Brandon was a defensive tackle on the unbeaten 1994 Nittany Lions team and played in the NFL with the Dallas Cowboys and Washington (Redskins). Freddy Burns has his weekly Fantasy Football tips, too, and Fred and Jim "Chet" Chesko have their Week 7 NFL picks.

As usual, there's plenty to discuss on the Philadelphia sports scene! The Eagles are 1-3-1 but still very much alive in the "NFC Least," the Phillies are facing an important offseason, and the Flyers last week drafted several 18-year-olds with lots of potential. With Carson Wentz struggling once again, the Eagles settled for a Week 3 tie against the visiting Cincinnati Bengals, and the Phillies lost 7 of their last 8 games to miss out on a playoff berth. A very special edition of the Philly Pressbox Radio Roundtable: Hall of Fame journalist Ray Didinger tells Biil and Chet his "story" -- from growing up an Eagles fan to covering the Birds the past 50 years, with a slew of highlights along the way! (Glen Macnow and Ray do a fabulous segment every weekend on SportsRadio WIP called "Tell Us Your Story," and they've given us the ok to "borrow" that format for two special episodes here -- this one with Ray, and ...soon... one with Glen!).

The Phillies "summer camp" is under way and we're moving closer to what we hope will be a baseball season, albeit a shortened one. Visiting Philly Pressbox Radio to talk about the likelihood of a season and how Joe Girardi's club might do is longtime Phillies reporter Paul Hagen.
