It's Women's History Month, and we have two great ladies visiting Philly Pressbox Radio this week. Longtime 76ers reporter DEI LYNAM stops by to talk all-things Sixers as they depart on an important West Coast trip ... and author LUANNE LYONS POWELL visits Bill and Chet to discuss her new book "So This Is Love" and more. Plenty to discuss about the Philly sports scene, as always  ... plus March Mandess -- and there's another Random Chet segment, too.

A couple of Philly legends visit Philly Pressbox Radio this week! Phillies radio voice Scott Franzke joins Bill and Chet to preview the Phils' 2020 season, and we talk all-things Flyers with former Broad Street Bully and current Flyers ambassador Bob "Hound" Kelly. There will be a bit of Eagles and Sixers talk, too, plus another "Random Chet" segment for your viewing and listening pleasure!

We had such a great time talking with Ray Fosse a couple of times last spring, we decided we needed to have him back for a return visit here in 2021. Fosse, a two-time All-Star with the Indians and two-time World Champion with the A's, gives Bill and Chet his thoughts about the upcoming baseball season, MLB's rules changes, the passing last year of former Phils great Dick Allen and several baseball Hall of Famers and much more. Plus, our weekly update on the Philly sports scene and another 'Random Chet' segment.

There's always plenty to discuss on the Philly sports scene and we have two great guests to help with that this week: Museum of Sports Show host Doug Shimell, whom you'll remember from his two decades as a reporter with NBC-10, and Inquirer.com Phillies columnist Bob Brookover -- he'll answer all of our questions about this year's Phils! Plus, Bill and Chet give their take on the Eagles' trade of Carson Wentz and the Flyers' not-so-great Lake Tahoe game, and tnere's another "Random Chet" to look forward to ... or not!

It's already been a bizarre offseason for the Eagles. We talk Birds with Delco Daily Times' BOB GROTZ this week -- the latest on the Carson Wentz mess and much more. Plus, Edge of Philly Sports' FREDDY BURNS joins Bill and Chet to talk Sixers. We cover the Phillies and the  Covid-stricken Flyers as well, and you'll get another edition of "Random Chet."

Carson Wentz will soon be an ex-Eagle, apparently. That's a main topic for this week's show, plus Bill and Chet welcome first-time visit David Didinger to the show. David is a camera man for NFL Films and NBC Sports' regional networks and has worked 20+ Super Bowls, including this year's and Super Bowl LII, when he had Nick Foles "wired up" and caught that memorable "You want Philly Philly?" moment. And, yes, David is the son of Ray Didinger, who will very likely come up in our conversation. You'll also get some Flyers and Sixers talk and another "Random Chet" segment -- this one Valentine's Day related!

Glen Macnow has been covering the Philly sports scene since he joined the Inquirer in 1986, and since the early 1990s he's been a staple on Sports Radio WIP and has authored several books, while also being something of a food and beer expert. On this week's Philly Pressbox Radio Roundtable, we get Glen's story -- "borrowing" the weekly "Tell Us Your Story" segment that Ray Didinger and Glen do every Saturday on WIP. In addition to chatting with Glen, there will be plenty of talk about the latest on the Philly sports scene courtesy Bill Furman and Jim "Chet" Chesko, including last Friday's passing of legendary Temple coach John Chaney.

It's always great when Inquirer.com sports columnist Mike Sielski visits Philly Pressbox Radio. This time, Mike gives Bill and Chet his take on the Eagles' hiring of Nick Sirianni as their new head coach, the first-place 76ers, the defensively challenged Flyers and the outlook for the Phillies as they get set to head to spring training next month. Plus, Mike gives us a preview about his forthcoming back about Kobe Bryant. Also, Bill and Chet discuss the Super Bowl LV matchup between the Chiefs and Buccaneers, and reflect on the late, great Hank Aaron.

What's the latest on the Eagles' search for a new head coach? Who will be the Birds' quarterback next season? Joining us to talk all-things Eagles is Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding Green Nation. Well, the Eagles season is mercifully over. Now what? There are plenty of topics to discuss as the Birds' offseason begins, and who better to help us on that front than Hall of Fame sportswriter Ray Didinger. Always great to have R.Diddy join us! Also making a visit to our first Philly Pressbox Radio show of 2021 is Wall Street Journal sportswriter Rachel Bachman, who discusses the College Football Playoff system, why it always seems to be the same schools involved in the playoffs, and whether Alabama will win another title. The year 2020 has been one that we'll never forget -- mostly for negative things, and that includes much of what happened on the Philadelphia sports scene.
