Sydney-based photographer Sabastian Giunta spent 15 days in India on his first visit to the country, capturing life along the banks of the River Ganga in Varanasi. Former US Vice President Dick Cheney has passed away at the age of 84, reportedly due to complications from pneumonia and cardiovascular disease. As George W Bush’s deputy, Cheney was regarded as one of the most powerful vice presidents in US history. In recent years, he became known as a vocal critic of Republican President Donald Trump.

Australia’s long-awaited Aged Care Act came into effect on November 1, marking a major step in implementing the recommendations of the Royal Commission into Aged Care Safety and Quality released four years ago. The federal government says the reform will provide older Australians with more options and flexibility for in-home care, ensuring their rights and dignity are better protected. However, advocates and welfare groups warn that the new funding model — which replaces the existing Home Care Packages with the new Support at Home Program — could leave many seniors paying more out of pocket for basic support services such as cleaning, showering assistance, transport, and meal preparation.

Prostate cancer is one of the most common cancers affecting men in Australia. According to the Australian Institute of Health and Welfare (AIHW) data, 29,000 new cases of prostate cancer are likely to be diagnosed in 2025, making up 30 per cent of cancer diagnoses in men. Despite losing a leg and his cousin in an accident that left him in debt and despair, Bihar’s Kameshwar Yadav rebuilt his life with purpose. Once expelled from school for not being able to pay fees, he now teaches hundreds of poor children who lack access to education, dedicating himself fully to their learning and future. - एक दुखद हादसे में अपनी टांग और चचेरे भाई को खो देने के बाद, बिहार के कामेश्वर यादव कर्ज़ और निराशा में डूब गए थे। लेकिन उन्होंने हिम्मत नहीं हारी और अपने जीवन को एक नए उद्देश्य के साथ फिर से बनाया। जो कभी फीस न भर पाने की वजह से स्कूल से निकाले गए थे, वही आज बहुत से गरीब बच्चों को पढ़ाते हैं जिनके पास शिक्षा पाने का अवसर नहीं है। अब वे पूरी तरह से उनके सीखने और भविष्य को संवारने में समर्पित हैं।
