Democratic Sen. Elizabeth Warren of Massachusetts on Thursday reintroduced a bill that would ban anti-union "right-to-work" laws and nullify those enacted by Republican lawmakers in 27 states. Why I wrote the book 'It's Worth It How to talk to your Right Wing Relatives, Friends, & Neighbors: It is something that we need to internalize. This is the evil we must extricate from America. SAY NO to privatized water!
06/09/2022 Duração: 57minThe MSNBC documentary Civil War is a must-see. A short segment with a southern white man says much about our evil problems. We must say no to Jackson water privatization. This southern white man reflects the thoughts of too many. We must make guys like him irrelevant: After watching this documentary, it is clear that too many older white men in southern states still promote this evil nonsense, as did this southern white man. I want your sober thoughts on this. Please listen to the entire video with my commentary. ‘Can’t Be Allowed’: Alarm as Mississippi Gov. Floats Privatization of Jackson Water System: “The response to a water crisis can’t be turning the city water supply into a for-profit industry.” Water pressure has been restored in Jackson, but residents of Mississippi’s capital still lack safe drinking water and now must contend with the threat of privatization—an idea floated by Republican Gov. Tate Reeves and denounced by critics on Monday. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/politic

Rafael Espinoza, Free Speech TV's new manager on where he and his team are taking the station
06/09/2022 Duração: 17minI am an avid supporter of Free Speech TV's job for the Progressive movement. I know many of their regulars, including Thom Hartmann, Rick Smith, and others. I recently attended the Netroots Nation 2022 conference in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, where I met the station's new General Manager. Rafael Espinoza left corporate media to do the necessary work the movement needed. While some may see this as altruistic, an activist sees it as required. When one listens to Mr. Espinoza, that rings true immediately. Espinoza did environmental work protecting the environment against oil & gas corporations. He said that the Free Speech TV job found him. "This was a fusion of my experience in the nonprofit advocacy space and working in commercial media," Rafael Espinoza said. "Now working in nonprofit, noncommercial public interest media." Espinoza said his goal goes beyond bringing diversity to Free Speech TV. He is enhancing digital media and much more. Above and beyond, he wants to extend the station's reach. Listen to

She said that Democrats couldn’t win without volunteers. And in the age of COVID, volunteering is harder than ever. She said that Communication tools like Slack and bespoke political tools could be confusing without training. And there are a lot of them. We have an open forum. ‘Unfit for the Bench’: Trump-Appointed Judge Orders Halt to DOJ Review of Seized Materials: “This judge is now an active participant in Trump’s crimes,” said one critic. Political observers on Monday said U.S. District Court Judge Aileen Cannon “engaged herself in obstruction of justice” by ruling that the U.S. Department of Justice must halt its review of materials seized at former President Donald Trump’s Florida estate, Mar-a-Lago. Cannon, who was appointed by the former Republican president and confirmed after he lost the 2020 election, ruled that Trump “faces an unquantifiable potential harm by way of improper disclosure of sensitive information to the public” if the review of the materials, which included documents marked “confidential” and “top secret” continues. Blue Wave is coming. Third World Mississippi's dirty water, a red state shame. Mark Thompson's here.
31/08/2022 Duração: 59minWhat Red Wave? A Blue Wave is in the making if Progressives & Democrats want it. WAKE UP!: Many think I am crazy for saying it. But I do not expect Democrats to lose in 2022. In fact, I expect them to win it all, a blue wave. The Red States continued on the path to third-world status as Mississippi citizens were left with no clean water: Gov. Vic Uzumeri, a citizen who lived under both Canadian & American healthcare, candid comparison.
31/08/2022 Duração: 20minVic Uzumeri has lived under both the Canadian & American healthcare systems. A recent event with his wife proved the superiority of one. Vic Uzumeri is a regular at Netroots Nation. This year he had a story to tell that I thought was extremely important for all to understand. Earlier, the founder, publisher, and editor at OpEdNews, Tob Kall, spoke to me about the power of stories. We agreed that it is the best way to let people see themselves in the plight of others or, at worst, to empathize with others. Vic did not want to criticize the American system profoundly. He did not need to do so. In describing the system he is living under now, the barbaric fraudulent nature of the American healthcare system rang as loud as possible. Will America ever wake up to the indoctrination perpetrated by those profiting from our failed system? If I have anything to do about it, they will. We are going to tell these stories and keep people informed. --- Send in a voice message: https://anchor.fm/politicsdoneright/mes
