Sega Mixer Drive... With Rexy

On top of 2 hours of arranged Sega tunes, this episode saw the start of the impending Season end, as the first 2015 In Review poll went live for audience feedback. It also marked the 2nd attempt at spreading a Sega-related hashtag - with amusing results!

September meant the back-to-school blues for some, but SMD was there to keep bringing remix-related life to the weekend - all 2 hours of it. This regular show not only covered a wide set of bases, but also introduced a new hidden persona for the host...

The end of August meant another Mystery Mix, and in this week's episode, the 2-hour setlist of Sega remixes all had vocals in them! Grab your hairbrushes and TV remotes - you might be singing along yourself by the end of this podcast!

Another blistering hot regular edition, another blistering hot set of remixes for the evening. Among all the beats blasted tonight, hype started building up for anticipated games in the near future... including Sonic appearing in a Nintendo game? What?!

When the Summer gets too hot, jump into the water - perfect timing for Fish Friday! All arranges on this week's edition are either of water levels or have had an aquatic twist thrown in. Seriously, a water level show? You'd better sea it to believe it!

It's the host's birthday! For a more unusual show, the setlist mostly consisted of remixes that either have ties to late-July or arranged games close to her heart. And she's no RoBKTA, but there's also a brief DJ set as a prelude to being on Last Call!

This week's regular show had plenty of remixes including a Source Roulette to remember and then some - the minds of the IRC summoned superheroes everywhere, even in the presence of a 'superhero' - or inspiration - of the host. (We missed you ResidentSD!)

This week's regular show became not quite too regular thanks to people and their dreams of Sega characters visiting their houses. In addition was a welcome dream surprise - Flexstyle sending in an unreleased track! What did the audience think of it?

It's the weekend of the RadioSEGA Grand Prix, marked to co-incide with the British Formula 1 race. SMD was one of four shows that stepped up to the plate - and went on to deliver with 2 hours of Sega racing arrange tunes. Vroom vroom!

June's Mystery Mix took us into the house of Breakbeat, though the term got used loosely with 2 hours of Sega remixes with the goal to use acoustic-sounding drums to still bring energy to the dancefloor. The funk-soul 'sister' is in the building!

On June 23rd, Sonic the Hedgehog would hit 24 years of existence and enjoyment for fans across the world. That meant a full show dedicated to the blue wonder and a setlist (almost) entirely filled with fan arranges. What will YOU do this Tuesday?

Another week, another regular show. This episode faced an audio beach party, the aftermath for Bentley Jones's appearance on The Sega Lounge, and lots of Ice Cap despite not making the Source Roulette. Due to a heatwave, our host really needed the latter!

What a nostalgic night it had been! Along with the 2 hours of varying Sega arranges - including one track someone learnt in just 2 days (!) - there was plenty of discussion about gaming conventions past, present and future. Memory lane just got wider!

NEW ALBUM! This episode saw the first full playthrough of Sound of the Sonic Stadium '15: Tropical Paradise. Just like with their previus album, Rexy was joined by DJ EAR on the air and aided the listeners through this new musical chapter!

As the 60th Eurovision Song Contest Final was due to get underway, SMD marked the occasion by having a pre-show Eurovision party of its own: all of the artists tonight hailed from the pool of 40 European countries (and Australia!) taking part. Magnifique!

This week's regular edition of SMD saw a strong setlist on a colorful talk backdrop. With Sonic Boom soon to air in the UK, this show also threw around dream Sega TV shows, self-picks for the occasion and the usual (Looney?) delivery you know and love!

Our host was unable to do a Friday show this week, but the Saturday broadcast was well timed - all for the Sega Saturn's 20th Anniversary. That meant lots of coverage for Sega's 32-bit machine - as well as Dj Mokram's first new release in nearly 2 years!
