We won a trophy! They only give three out in this country! The highs and lows of the Liverpool double-header are explored in excruciating detail as well as a quick look ahead to the game against Aston Villa. We won a trophy though!

Before a rather heated debate about whether Willy should be in or out at the League Cup Final, Dave and Mon talk through the games at Chelsea and Kiev: Were the kids alright? Are they in love with Yaya again? Who will win the first silverware of the season?

Dave and Mon try to put it off as long as possible, but eventually they have to talk about Mr. Clattenburg. They do start by dissecting the match against Tottenham every which way though, and finish wondering how heavy the defeat will be against Chelsea in the FA Cup.

Dave and Mon discuss the win on Wearside, then trawl through the wreckage after Leicester visit the Etihad. Then there's the Spurs game to look forward to as well as officials to talk about. And let's not forget the injuries...

A momentous day as Manuel announces his own departure and Pep's arrival. Dave and Mon talk about the announcement, as well as another trip to Wem-ber-ley and whether or not Ian Nacho is the the real deal. Games against the Mackems and table-topping Foxes get a look-in too!

Was the West Ham performance a positive or a negative? Are we sick of playing Everton? Will we still be in 4 competitions after the weekend? All these questions (and more) are debated in this episode by Dave and Mon.

Dave and Mon talk through yet another Everton match (PL this time), before addressing the Crystal Palace game. They also look wistfully into the distance while discussing City's final league visit to the Boleyn ground.

Mon is quite down after hearing the news about David Bowie and reminisces with Dave about the concerts at Maine Road. After that it's a cup special with the games at Everton (CO Cup) and Norwich (FA Cup) dissected, as well as looking forward to the next game against Everton. "Do you remember a guy that's been in such an early song? I've heard a rumour from ground control. Oh no, don't say it's true..."

Happy New Year! Before savouring the first of a January triple header against the Toffees; Dave and Mon discuss the performances against Leicester and Watford. We only went and won away!

A very interesting week of festive footy finds Mon and Dave with a lot to discuss. Arsenal, Sunderland and Leicester all get chewed up and spat out; along with a few words of prediction at the league halfway point.

The doubts are creeping in again for Dave and Mon, with the defeat at Stoke and a below-par performance against Swansea. Sandwiched between these two, however, was the stirring comeback against Gladbach and all three games are discussed as well as a little look forward to Arsenal (and beyond!)

Mon and Dave are much happier this week, with a couple of victories to counter the defeats of last week. Southampton, Hull and Stoke are all discussed as well as the new (part) owners from China.

Results have taken a turn for the worse with the defeats against Liverpool at home and Juventus away. Is there any hope left for lickle citeh or is it all over? Dave and Mon discuss...

Dave and Mon have three matches to catch up on: Norwich at home, then the two Villas away. Mon does his best to try to get Dave to admit that City are in a good place- does he succeed?

The Derby seems but a dim and distant memory but Mon and Dave still talk about it. Also under discussion, the fillip of the cup match against Palace. Plus, Norwich: the game to come at the weekend as well as the city of, apparently.

Dave and Mon are joined by (red) Jamie, to preview the first Manchester derby of the season. They begin by talking about the CL game against Sevilla, including the news that UEFA will be investigating the booing of the competition's anthem. Whatever next.

Another glut of goals finds Mon and Dave reasonably happy, although Mon is annoyed with people failing to understand the offside law and Dave bemoans referees. Plus ça change. As well as looking back at Bournemouth they wonder if Sterling is all that, just how City will fare against Sevilla and whether the reported profit figures matter; all the while never quite escaping the shadow of the imminent derby.

Such a long time has passed since the Newcastle rout that yet more injuries now threaten to bring Dave down. However, Mon does his best to try to get him to see the positive side. Plus: referees...

What a difference a win makes! Dave and Mon talk through supporter protests, the match against Newcastle and the win at Gladbach in the week. Marvellous!
