Wynonna Judd and her mother Naomi are one of the most popular singing duets in country music history, which have sold more than 20 million records. Naomi married her childhood sweetheart and gave birth to Wynonna during her high school graduation week. The marriage didnt last and Naomi moved to the mountains of Kentucky. With no TV, the two began spending hours around the kitchen table, where Wynonnas soulful leads and Naomis sweet harmonies took form. The determined young mother arranged a rare live audition with RCA Records. Only two years later, the Judds were accepting their first Grammy Award. Within eight years, they had amassed 18 Number One country hits and 60 country music awards. In 1990, Wynonna went on to debut with a solo album and a 110-city concert tour.
