Parts of his childhood were spent in Central Florida where his parents and grand- parents raised him. At sixteen his family relocated to the suburbs of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania. It was not until these formative years that Adam began to read fiercely and write clumsily. Adam teaches 8th Grade Language Arts at Thurmont Middle School in Frederick County, Maryland. Adam lives alongside the Blue Ridge Mountains with his wife, Jamie.
