Schlereth And Evans

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike asks Mark if there’s anything The Nuggets can do to restore his faith in the team, and Stink says they have to beat The Spurs before he believes.  And Stoke ends the show by enraging every old Bronco fan by proposing cuts to The Ring of Fame.   

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke try to convince Stink that The Nuggets still have a chance to win a championship despite how soft they have played early on.  The Broncos had a good draft, according to Cecil Lammey and other local draft analysts, but how does Mel Kiper feel about it?  The Nuggets had a huge game from Spencer Jones and Stoke is excited even though Mark is not. 

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mark is not convinced about The Nuggets' chances in the playoffs even if they come back from being down 3-1 and win the series against The Minesota Timberwolves.  The Broncos got some good players in the Draft, and the guys are really excited about running back Jona Coleman. 

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke bask in The Nuggets win from the previous night and give some major props to Spencer Jones filling in for Aaron Gordon in the starting lineup.  Mike plays some highlights from an interview with Broncos new lineman Cage Casey, and he has an interesting favorite player.  We then welcome in 9news Broncos Insider Mike Klis to talk about The Broncos draft and how happy they are with the players they got.   

In the fourth and final hour of Stokley and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys debate if they think the Nuggets have the fight in them to force the series with the Timberwolves to 6 or 7 games and Cecil Lammey joins the guys to review the Broncos draft class and give his final grade.

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys break down The Avalanche win from the previous night against The LA Kings beating them in a 4-game sweep.  Mark has a lot of fun gloating over his draft pick prediction, and says he’s done with the Nuggets.  And to close out the hour the fellas welcome in “the lovely and talented” James Merilatt.   

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke welcome Mark Schlereth into the program, and he proceeds to take his roses for predicting The Broncos' first draft pick correctly.  The Rockies swept the Mets over the weekend, and the guys start to get excited again about baseball.  And in the last segment of the hour Mike gets into what’s trending, and Mark says he’s done with the Nuggets.  

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, The Avalanche swept the LA Kings last night in blowout fashion after winning three tough games so Mike and Stoke break down the series and try to look forward not knowing who they will play in round two Dallas or Minesota.  And The Nuggets are down against the Timberwolves 3 games to 1, but Mike says they should still win the series.  Mike and Stoke finish off the hour by getting into The Broncos draft and who their favorite players are from it. 

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke was out for the day so Mike and Mark carry the load and continue to lament the Nuggets loss and get excited about The Avs going forward because we need something to get excited about after That huge loss by the Nuggs.  Then it’s everyone's favorite segment, Trivia presented by Window Nation!  after going 1-3 the previous week without Mike Evans, the guys look to respond with grit and toughness unlike The Denver Nuggets.   

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mark and Mike start getting into The Draft and what position they think The Broncos might take.  Brandon Stokely is off today so nobody brings up the middle of the hour, and Mike tries to use The Avs being up 3-0 as a silver lining to the Nuggets looking terrible against The Minesota Timberwolves.   

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys lament last night’s debacle by The Nuggets against The Minesota Timberwolves and find new ways to call them soft.  There are a few tight ends still available in the second and third rounds of The Draft, will The Broncos take one or will it be the year of Trout?  

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mark is in early for Stoke this morning, so Mike and him start listing all the things that are less soft than the Nuggets like microwaved butter, a baby’s bottom, and whale poop.  The Avalanche gave us a reason to be happy by taking a 3-0 lead over The LA Kings last night, and now the question is whether it’s a sweep or a gentleman’s sweep going forward.    

In the final hour of Stokley and Evans with Mark Schlereth the guys discuss why they expect for the Nuggets to come out firing early tonight against the Timberwolves and take what Jaden McDaniels had to say about their defense personally. Mike explains why he's more confident in the Avalanche on the road vs at home against the Kings and well-known Jokic hater Kendrick Perkins criticizes Jokic for his defense performances

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys start out the hour getting into The Nuggets matchup against The Timberwolves and how they think the Nuggs will react to Jayden McDaniels disparaging comments.  Mike listens to Zach Bye talking about the potential return of Peyton Watson and who might be telling him to sit out until he’s 100% healthy.   

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, The guys get ready for the Nuggets game tonight against The Minesota Timberwolves and break down what he Nuggs need to do to get the win.  The Avs also get going again tonight for game three of their series against The LA Kings, and Mike plays some clips from Paul Bissonette criticizing the Avs.  We close out the hour by hearing more criticisms, this time it’s Kendrick Perkins talking about Nikola Jokic. 

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Stoke and Mike start to get excited about the double header tonight with The Nuggets and Timberwolves tipping off at 7:30 and The Avs dropping the puck at 8.  Stoke tries to establish his middle of the hour idea and Mike asks how many games The Nuggs need to win on their trip to Minesota and if The Avs are better off with a gentlemen’s sweep and less time off than winning in four games. 

For the fourth and final hour of the day on Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys get right to it at the top of the hour going over The Avalanche’s big win against The LA Kings in overtime last night and whether or not we should be concerned with these close games even though The Avs are up 2-0.  Stoke tries to convince Mike and Mark about his top of the hour bottom of the hour system that makes too much sense not to use.  And at the middle of the hour (the end) Mike plays some of the best audio of the day and takes credit for all of Gabriel Landeskog’s success.    

In hour three of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike, Stink, and Stoke get real about The Avs Win over the kings and if they should be concerned about the way The Kings are forcing The Avalanche to play a slow and grindy game.  Stokely submits his ideas about what the top and bottom of the hour should be, and he confuses Mike and Mark more than listening to Jon Gruden, who’s comments they play at the bottom of the hour?     

For the second hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, the guys break down The Avs win over the LA Kings in game two of the first round in The Stanley cup Playoffs as they welcome in Mark Schlereth and continue to praise Gabriel Landeskog.  We get to what’s trending with Mike Vrabel’s comments about the Diana Russini situation, big news involving Mike Tomlin, and how Jon Gruden feels about clapping quarterbacks.   

In the first hour of Stokely and Evans with Mark Schlereth, Mike and Stoke get into the Avalanche's overtime win over The LA Kings in nail biting fashion and listen to some comments made by Chiefs coach Andy Reid praising their new backup quarterback Justin Fields, they’re not scared.  We then check out some highlights from The NFL Draft press conferences best minds like Shedeur Sanders and John Gruden.
