(STINGER: New Japan) Many fans probably assumed this on their own... but now, Kazuchika Okada confirms he is one of at least 7 New Japan wrestlers who tested positive for COVID-19 over the last month. In an interview with “Radio Oshabering”, Okada said he initially tested negative...after being pulled from the second Wrestling Dontaku show on May 4th. But after his fever persisted and he continued to feel unwell...he got another test and that one was positive. Okada said he’s feeling better. New Japan is running three straight dates at Korakuen Hall starting Monday. Okada is not scheduled to appear on any of those shows. COVID-19 concerns are impacting other promotions in Japan. Pro-Wrestling NOAH announced Kotaro Suzuki tested positive. He missed NOAH’s show on Sunday...along with YO-HEY, Kai Fujimura and Yasutaka Yano
