Jrmar Jefferson, the Democratic candidate, running for Republican Congressman Louie Gohmert’s seat, faced a disturbing hate crime. This story is very hurtful. Anyone with a heart would be sad that this type of hate is still occurring in America. The candidate for Louie Gohmert’s supposedly very conservative seat, Texas District 1, campaigned throughout his district. He engaged with Democrats, Republicans, and Independents. In fact, he said that his race is closer than one would believe. A customer was unhappy that the affable candidate was making headway with a potential voter. He threatened to hose down Jrmar with gasoline and light him on fire.
