Airplay

Today's play is a short piece called MOM I AM By one of our resident playwrights Shirley King. I asked Shirley what inspired this particular piece and she replied, " I thought wouldn't it be fun to write a rhyming monologue about a mom's efforts to work out compromises with her children? I love rhymes and just now got an idea about a country singer addressing life's problems with rhyming lyrics. I can already see her and hear her voice. I can hardly wait to get started!
