“I Drive Killer 65” is the central piece of a collection of short plays called, appropriately, I Drive Killer 65 and Other Stories.” The plays address male/female relationships from a variety of angles. This play is named for Ohio River Boulevard, Route 65, a major commuting route from the northern suburbs to Downtown Pittsburgh. Once one of the most dangerous roads in Pennsylvania, its drivers bore the bumper sticker “Pray for Me – I Drive Killer 65.”In “I Drive Killer 65,” Woman has left her home in San Francisco to follow Man to Pittsburgh, where he has taken a very good job.
