Kim Maier is the Executive Director of the Old Stone House & Washington Park - a community-based history, culture and environmental organization that is the conservancy organization for Washington Park/JJ Byrne Playground in Park Slope, Brooklyn. The Old Stone House, originally the Vechte Cortelyou House, is a member of the Historic House Trust of New York City and is listed on the National Register of Historic Places.
