Our Advent series is Hope is Born. Each week we look at a different aspect of how we prepare ourselves for hope. The message for today is “Expecting” and is a look what it means to expect hope. What are the expectations we have? In a year full of turmoil how have those expectations changed? What were the expectations of the Messiah? Where is our hope? We prepare our hearts to receive the hope that was born on Christmas Day. Our scripture readings for today come from 2 Samuel 7:1-11, 16; Romans 16:25-27; Luke 1:26-38.
