Do you buy certain things to be “seen” a certain way? As a committed entrepreneur As a good mom As someone who is manifesting something As someone who has it together As someone who can afford it As someone who (fill it in for you) Lots of people do it.  And most don’t even realize it. I remember when I was in a business at 19 and you were supposed to buy tickets to an event that was coming up for all the imaginary people you wanted there.  They made a big deal about it. “This is what people who are committed to success do,” they said. So I did it because I was committed to being successful. What I ended up with was $70 worth of tickets that went to waste, two friends who were stuck at an event, because you know you had to get people to use your tickets so you’d be successful, bored out of their minds and not a step closer to success.
