Tonight's loss from the Philadelphia Eagles was not as heartbreaking as one may think. Yes, Justin Herbert is a more ideal QB for what the NFL likes, BUT Jalen Hurts overcame some of his own bad habits in the pocket tonight. No, the result wasn't just the offense not scoring more than the Chargers, it was the lack of supportive defensive plays that led to a close 27-24 loss. AJ feels that Hurts made leaps and bounds of improvement in his play with less pass attempts than in the past few games. The lack of defensive plays by Slay, Barnett and Harris is truly what led to the loss. Every game is an example as to why chemistry with team and Coach is important.
