Adam and Eve fell into sin. Adam and Eve’s descendants spiraled into even deeper sin. So, God sends a flood to destroy the earth. Yet, in the flood, God rescues Noah and begins again! This flood, according to 1 Peter 3:21, points to baptism, where we begin again, too, after being born into sin.
