Welcome to the newly launched “Life Together” podcast, a podcast about faith, culture, community, and life at the Bruderhof, from the editors of Plough. We’ve changed the name from “Bruderhof Talkfest” but your hosts are still Bernard, Peter, and Marianne. Today, they explain the reason for the new title, and then, provoked by a tweet that Marianne saw, dive right into the topic of Old Testament v. the New Testament. Next up, a discussion of what’s happening in different Bruderhof communities around the world, followed by an attempt to answer some questions from our listeners about how our communities have changed over time, about our use of the term “righteous pagans,” and about our clothing.
