First up its human statistics with Jonathan Dodd. Mr Dodd takes a look at a suicide. Then Graeme is joined by playwright and theatre advocate Roger Hall, to discuss NZ theatre month hitting Auckland this September. The month was an initiative that was started three or four years in the making. Mr Hall believes that Aucklanders are generally unaware of the quantity and quality of theatre performances in the city, and are missing out on a multitude of performances. I dont sense a civic pride in all of the plays we do Graeme and Mr Hall also touch on Wellington and how they think that they are the theatre city. However Wellingtonians dont realise how much theatre there is in Auckland. Aucklanders dont even realise how much there is. Mr Hall wants Aucklanders to be more aware, and proud of the dramatic arts we have at our disposal.
