Dream Big

Poonam Rahman is the Founder and Chief Executive Officer of two international 501(c)(3) nonprofit organizations designed to provide free resources to historically marginalized communities. Observing the lack of access to mental health and S.T.E.A.M. resources within my local community, she felt propelled to create organizations to lower the barrier to such vital resources needed to succeed. She has also written a book called "Shattering Bias In S.T.E.A.M." which focuses on bridging gender gaps within the field of S.T.E.M. and creating a more inclusive work environment for all women. Her areas of expertise and interest include combating gender inequality, promoting mental health accessibility, and providing resources and opportunities for students in underprivileged communities.
