Since 2015, Melvin has been collecting and analyzing movement data for studies of adults with physical disabilities caused by traumatic brain injury, stroke, and osteoarthritis, and children and adolescents with cerebral palsy. He finds working on multiple studies simultaneously challenging, but credits teamwork with enabling him to balance his time to ensure collection of quality data. Fluent in Spanish, he also helps translate for Spanish-speaking participants.
