Tam Agosti-Gisler (Ah-gauze-tea Geez-lure) arrived in Alaska with her family as a toddler in the year of statehood. She’s had a lifelong relationship with the Anchorage School District—first as a student, then as a teacher and a parent of children in the system, next as director of the School Business Partnership program, and finally as a school board member, now retired. Tam’s lifelong wanderlust has taken her to many nooks and crannies of the world, where she has had many life-changing experiences.
