I've been practicing law in Cobb County in Metro Atlanta for 13 years. I've left the firm I was with to start a new firm and we started on January 1, 1984. And I took with me 2 legal assistants and I told them at that time that I wasn't even sure we're able to pay them the first month, and they came anyway. And fortunately, we were able to pay them and me a little bit too. And we have never looked back since that time. My vision when I started this firm was that we would have a law firm based on the big firm concept downtown - that is have specialties in different areas. At the time that I started the firm, my primary clientele was real estate developers and banks. We came up with a, what we call a wheel concept.
