Cold Shower

In this episode I sit down with my friend, Shenise. Her willingness to guide me through a conversation about racism, her experience, and the state of her spirit is so much appreciated. Please take a look at 6 things that you can do right now. * Check in with a Black friend or coworker to see how they are coping with everything right now. * Establish or revisit policies in the workplace to ensure diversity AND equity are incorporated in hiring practices and day to day operations. * Donate money to an organization that stands for/fights against social injustices. * Call the DA’s office to ask/demand the four officers that were fired be charged. * Created a safe space for Black people to come (rather personal space or professional). * Speak up when friends or family say anything hateful, unthoughtful, racists.
