Tangents

Science dictates that we give up something in order to gain something. That goes for everything we feel passionate about. We may ask for the world, but unless we are ready to give many many things up, it's a lost cause. We cannot cheat ourselves to the apex. It is funny to think that we expect more without shedding something, and yet here we are, every day--praying and hoping things go our way. We are all about to take on the biggest opposition of our lifetimes. Post-pandemic life will take many things from us, but, what will we gain? That is up to the size of our sacrifice.
