Voices Of The Rising

This is the eighth episode in a series of audio stories from the Easter 1916 archives of the National Library of Ireland, Dublin, Ireland. The stories are narrated by Katherine McSharry, Head of Outreach with the National Library of Ireland and Irish voice artist Niall O Sioradáin. In this episode, Niall O Sioradáin reads from a letter written by a member of the Four Courts St. John’s Ambulance Brigade, documenting the horrific injuries suffered by civilians during the Rising.
