Ritter Sports Performance

Mark brings over 22 years of coaching experience to the Sharks. Mark is a graduate of Oakland University (Michigan) where he received a degree in communication. He was a member of three national championship relays during his time at Oakland and was a 16-time NCAA Division II All-American. Mark has had a very successful coaching career. He was an Assistant Coach, Head Age Group coach, and Head Senior Assistant coach at the Oakland Live Y’ers Age Group Swim Team (OLY) for eight years. While at OLY, Mark was also the Assistant Coach at Wayne State University. From there, Mark went on to become the Head Coach at Truman State University. While at Truman, the women’s team won two NCAA Division II National Championships. His peers recognized his extraordinary contributions by awarding him the National Coach of the Year -- twice.
