We discuss: The Yellow Wallpaper and gothic themes, Olivia's on-point predictions and creepy dreams after reading, the many big themes in this book (medical world vs. folk healing, distrust of women, racism, classism, eugenics & incest-- yikes), comparisons with Allende's The House of the Spirits, a few unclosed loops, the benefits of ebooks versus physical books, Ashley's little taste of the awkwardness of online dating, the new 3.5% White Claws (spoiler alert, that's def not worth anything), Lindsay Lohan throwing us all under the bus with her kombucha excuse, Ashley's long lost Pom glasses, Olivia's chopstick life (someone, please send this woman a fork), and, um, incest??
