In 2006 praised writer Steven Moffat returned to Doctor Who with The Girl in the Fireplace and yet again created an amazing episode that is one of the highlights of the season. With Moffat's usual storytelling genius, we saw unfold before us a romance, mystery and adventure full of scares. This is the first of a new mini series within our podcast series where we take a look at our favorite stories from Doctor Who. We reviewed this story a few years back for our episode 13 but revisit the story (always a pleasure to see this story again)this time being one of Julia's favorite episodes of all time.
