The first time was Episode #19 when they accepted an interview with me in spite of me being a brand new podcaster.  Kristy realized she didn't want to follow the typical path of working until age 65 when she saw one of her colleagues collapsing our of work-stress. Also, she was told that as a grown up, she was supposed to buy a house, because that's what adult people do. But she was priced out of the market and she realized that all the sacrifices she would have to make, didn't make financial sense. Instead, she decided to put all her savings in index funds. After doing some adjustments in her life, getting into a career which had a high return for her investment, living frugally, and investing her savings, she was able to return at age 31.
