What if the first Christian heresy was the denial of the Bride of Jesus? Our workshop examines the story of the Lost Bride of the Christian story and the tragic consequences of the denial of the "Sacred Union" of the Logos and Sophia (masculine and feminine energies) at the heart of the Christian mythology. Images of medieval art and artifacts provide evidence that the "Great Secret" of Magdalene and Jesus was kept alive in Europe in spite of attempts of the Roman Inquisition to root it out.
