FOCUS GROUP #1: College Students Share Their Needs and Hopes

Informações:

Sinopse

From time to time, I will post focus groups I've facilitated with different demographics of Muslims. Listening is essential; perhaps one of the best ways to learn about the needs of people. By listening, educators are able to hand-tailor the needs of learners. The MSA at The John Jay College of Criminal Justice invited me for a series of talks on dawa. Instead of starting with a lecture, they broke up into groups and focused on the following: What kind of dawa would help me reach my potential What are my personal dawa needs What are my environmental dawa needs Their thoughts are valuable, as I told them, "gold" for anyone working with college students and engaged in religious education and ministry. I left with a lot to think about, and I appreciated their sharing. If you like the work I do, please support me by signing up for my online institute, SWISS at suhaibwebb.com
