Cookbook author Kate Winslow on growing up in Pittsburgh, cooking on a ranch in Wyoming and working for a newspaper in Santa Fe, New Mexico. There was her time at Gourmet magazine under Ruth Reichl, a trip to Sicily that produced a cookbook and then back to New Jersey.
