The Buffalo Beer League offered an invitation to taste Resurgence Brewing imperial Sponge Candy Stouts led by Jeff Ware himself. I would be a fool to turn them down.I'm glad I joined them as we tried Imperial Sponge Candy Stouts from 2014 through 2018 INCLUDING barrel-aged version of each.It was a wonderful evening drinking some phenomenal beer. Short version is, if you can get a 2015 Imperial, do it!
