Our tenth episode in which we watch and review the 1998 film Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas. Starring Johnny Depp and Benicio del Toro, and directed by Terry Gilliam, the movie is a satirical film based on the 1971 book of the same name written by Hunter S. Thompson, based on his own experiences. The loose plot follows journalist Raoul Duke and his attorney Dr. Gonzo’s trip to Vegas to cover the Mint 400 race, which devolves into a drug-fuelled exploration of the city which brings to light the failure of the American Dream. We give our rating and give recommendations, then look back on our first ten episodes.
