Have you ever been stuck on a plane for hours and were starving? Sometimes the airlines run out of food when such a situation occurs. What we like to do when we fly anywhere for any reason is to pack our own healthy food. We usually pack healthy snacks, make our own trail mix with raw unsalted seeds and nuts and dates, healthy sandwiches with nut butter and jam sweetened with fruit juice, fresh fruit, fresh vegetables. I prepare this the night before so we can always eat something healthy and delicious on the plane when my family or I am hungry.
