You’ve seen the signs on the way home from the beach that say “Bay Bridge Bound? Stay on 50”, well leaders in Queen Anne’s county are proposing making it a law! Commissioner Jim Moran says it’s a public safety issue for local police and fire. He told me this morning he’s going to push for a bill in Annapolis next year that would allow police to hand out tickets for leaving 50 in search of a quicker way home. He says already this year there have been 10-mile backups on 3 different Sundays. Should locals be able to block non-locals from driving on their roads???
