One of the best pieces of advice that I have gotten is to stop judging other people, then I will not judge myself and by not judging myself I will be more happy. That is good right? Anytime you compare yourself to other people, this is not good. Some people blame social media and the internet for this. I would argue that the internet and social media just give you want you want. If you just broke up with your girlfriend and then you see your girlfriend with another guy on the internet of course you will be all sad and depressed. Social media really exposes us to who we really are. If you are looking for negativity on the internet, you will find it. If you are looking for positivity you will find it as well. A big part of depression I think comes down to the judgment
