We will discuss the mission of Osher Lifelong Learning Institutes, and specifically how this happens at University of Hawaii at Manoa. We will talk about different programs, activities, events, and courses offered throughout the year and of varying lengths from a one-time course or event, to a series over time. We will emphasize the need to keep our minds active and engaged as we age, and that this is also a wonderful venue to bring like-minded people together for new friendships. We share in the desires to have mature learners with life experience coming together to engage their minds and enrich their lives through the OLLI broad-range of educational offerings from peer enthusiasts, experts in particular fields and (retired) university professors.  The host for this episode is Winston Welch.
