Sinopse

17-year-old Jake Jureky was born with Spina Bifida, a birth defect affecting the spine and spinal cord and a few years ago he was told some life changing news which led him and his father Jason to start an incredible adventure together.   Jake told Jodie & Soda the news made him want to live life to the fullest and take every opportunity as it comes. “I was basically told I was going to lose function in my legs 3-5 years and that was two years ago.”“We’ve created a bucket list of things that are really difficult to do without legs think like Kokoda, the Sydney Harbour Bridge climb” Jake’s father Jason has been inspired by his son’s positive outlook when it comes to looking to the future. “I think I cried for about half an hour and Jake was the one hugging me and saying look Dad its’s going to be alight and he’s like it’s not like I’m dying I’m just going to be in a wheelchair …I’m the one that’s supposed to be the adult here and Jake’s attitude is just remarkable” Join us at the next fundraising event to
