A bill to legalise same-sex marriage passed the Senate on Wednesday in a historic moment in Australian politics,  43 votes to 12, and the moment was met with a standing ovation in the packed public and parliamentary galleries. Jodie & Soda catch up with South Australian Senator Penny Wong who says she is proud that Australians have pushed for the Federal Government to have the bill passed. “I feel really proud of our country today” “We should all celebrate, we should all take credit Australians as a whole, that’s what forced the Parliament to act”
