Are 'virtual' friendships/relationships as valid as real-life connections? Can 'virtual' relationships (alone) be enough or does humanity require real-life connections to be well-rounded socially? We discuss our first 'virtual' connections (pen pals, CB radio buddies, and BBS-mates) to present friends we've known online and off, including our own friendship and how it evolved through online connections and mutual real-life friends.
