But today Solomon is not merely showing us how to be a student of human behavior but rather something deeper… he is showing us the heart of God. Our text uses the word “abomination”… This is probably the harshest term I can think of to show dislike for something and yet it is how God feels about lying. Why is lying classed as so horrible of a thing to God? Well I believe, for one thing, lying is something that satan loves to do… and he is good at it. In John 8:44 Jesus said: "…When he lies, he speak
