"Writing regularly is the path to self discovery." My husband gave me a gift last year with this quote attached, and I have thought about it over and over since then. As a teenager, I was an avid journal writer, and looking back, I truly believe that because I wrote so much about my day, my friends, my feelings, my frustrations, that I developed a good healthy dose of self confidence and awareness. I really got to know and understand myself, and that has really benefitted me in my life.
