Clinton's Core Classics

To address the elephant in the room, this episode doesn't pick up where we left off, which is a shame because I recall it being quite a blast.  The party heads to Thistletop and finds the bridge has been re-trapped, that is they found out when Reetin attempted to cross first.  After a short time discussing how to cross, the players decide to let the goblins solve it for them.  They waited in ambush for a gang of goblins to come back out, and managed to do some successful stealthing and took them out before anyone was any the wiser - one of many instances of "Sam Fishering" the party will be encouraged to do.  They managed to stealthily infiltrate the lower levels of the keep, avoiding goblin backups patrolling the corridors, met a room filled with ripnuggets harem and caged infant goblins, got caught and proceeded to lie to a giant bugbear mercenary that we were the newest recruits of Nualia's cult, and fought some fearsome foe (known as a Tentamort) which managed to stab Vrasken a whole b
