Mid-Century Master. Pete Wimberly designed some of Hawaii’s most iconic Mid-Century buildings. Combining modernism with fantasy South Seas elements, his work was the embodiment of the spirit of this time period. Unfortunately, most have long since been demolished, but they can still be seen in documentary historic photographs. The host for this episode is Desoto Brown.
