  Time to think about changes to the electrical system. When you charge your cell phone you're charging a DC battery. When you plug that charger into your house, so you are taking AC power and converting it to DC power to charge your phone. Same for your computer and lots of other things. Why can't your house have two systems so DC equipment uses a DC system and AC equipment uses the traditional AC system? There are advantages, and that's what we'll talk about.
