Relatable Leader

Talk to win at work by listening to this episode and considering how your word choice might be influencing collaboration between genders and departments. Highlighted is the vocabulary chapter in Gail Evans' book, "Play Like a Man, Win Like a Woman". I encourage you to think beyond gender, and pay attention to how people in different roles respond differently to certain words and phrases. What one person considers to be a neutral or factual word, might negatively trigger someone in a different department because they might interpret the word from a different perspective.
