The pitching was outstanding from the Sox, so outstanding that the Sox picked up the $15 million option on Chris Sale for next season and signed David Price to a $120 million 4-year deal. The Dodgers are going to have to make decisions on several of their players such as Machado and Freese. This was actually one of the lowest rated World Series in the last 10 years. Steve Pearce was the World Series MVP. Pearce has been a journey man, starting his career here with the Pirates. Speaking of the Pirates, they decided to NOT extend offers to Jay Hay and Jung Ho Kang. Cutch is a free agent. We will be keeping an eye on him to see where he lands this off season.
